Gibbs Insurance & Financial Services has its roots in Renee Gibbs-Solis’s more than 35 years of experience helping individuals and families understand and protect themselves through insurance.
Renee became a licensed Life & Health insurance agent in 1988. As a single mother raising her son, she was encouraged by her own mother to follow in her footsteps and pursue a career where she could help people. That decision would ultimately shape not only Renee’s career, but the philosophy behind Gibbs Insurance & Financial Services.
After nearly two decades as an independent insurance agent in South Florida, Renee moved to the Ocala area in 2004. She joined a Florida Blue agency in 2005, and her years of experience eventually led to the opportunity to establish her own agency in 2010.
Gibbs Insurance Services first opened in Astor, Florida, before moving to Ocala in 2012. Since then, the agency has continued to grow while holding onto the principles Renee built it around: personal service, honest guidance, strong insurance knowledge, and putting the client’s needs first.
Experience That Makes a Difference
Renee’s experience goes far beyond simply selling insurance policies. Over the course of her career, she has developed extensive knowledge of health insurance, life insurance, employee benefits, retirement options, and other coverage designed to protect families and businesses from financial risk.
Her approach has always been hands-on. Insurance should not end with the sale of a policy. Clients should have someone they can turn to when they have questions, when circumstances change, or when they simply need help understanding their coverage.
